帝国元首希特勒得意洋洋地来到纽约参观自由女神像，这时驻扎在白宫的纳粹将军向异星人索要先前承诺的空军中队。异星人火了，威胁将军如果再敢给他这种臭脸色看他就把纳粹党从地球历史上抹个一乾二净。接着 Vosk 私下向同伴坦白说他压根就不信任这些所谓的盟友。经过一番审问，异星人确认塔克和梅伟瑟并非时空特工，但两人挑选这个敏感时刻出现在地球上决非偶然。
进取号上，Alicia 苦苦请求亚契用船舰的武器轰炸柏林市。亚契婉转回绝，说这不是解决双方共同强敌的妥善之道，目前紧迫的是在她帮助下找回失踪的船员。Vosk 联络进取号，告知他将释放塔克和梅伟瑟回来以表诚意，条件是船长要同意和他会面。亚契同意，于是大家传送回来两位受尽折磨的同伴。Vosk 向亚契求援，辩解丹尼尔那帮时空特工和他一样厚着脸皮篡改时间线，而且他们民族也并非全无良知；如果亚契愿意倒戈提供帮助，他保证将把地球历史恢复到没有任何时空特工插手干预之前的状态。亚契假装答应，回到医务室正开始对塔克讲有关管道和时空防护罩的事时，一眼瞟到伏拉士手中医疗三度仪的读数，判断“塔克”不是人类，和 Silik 扭打起来。原来 Silik 变化成塔克的外貌把 Vosk 纪录有厂房平面图的光盘偷带回这艘现在唯一可以带他重返未来的船上。Vosk 又联络亚契，说有一个来自亚契时代的贼偷走了原本属于他的数据，他已经下令电浆加农炮瞄准进取号，如果亚契不归还就开火。亚契回绝他提出的交易条件，也用光子加农炮以牙还牙。进取号被击中受损。
特珀发现在轨道上根本无法精确定位时空管道的所在地，更别提在这里穿透 Vosk 的防护罩。Silik 告诉亚契他对拯救被自己调包以逃离地球的塔克没有兴趣，但是他不想见到 Vosk 的阴谋得逞，愿意帮助亚契潜入建造管道的厂房为进取号安放自动追踪信标。Alicia 召集反抗游击队前来支持，转移了守卫厂房的纳粹宪兵视线，让亚契和 Silik 有机会溜了进去。Vosk 发表一番演说，宣扬篡改时间线将让他们的民族达到完美之境，然后准备用完工的管道前往 29 世纪。当他得知反抗军突破厂房的防卫线攻进来时，气急败坏撕毁异星人和纳粹签订的盟约命令原本承诺给纳粹党的空军中队出击，并加快管道的启动进程。
进取号顺利收到亚契启动的追踪信号，迎着日出的光芒进入地球大气层航行到纽约市上空，和前来拦截的强火力空军中队展开一场恶斗，端的只见光炮闪闪，浓烟滚滚，敌人被打得溃不成军。但是厂房里的离子噪声干扰了亚契和进取号之间的通讯，Silik 也被纳粹宪兵射中而牺牲。亚契寻找出路时碰到塔克，原来他被 Silik 关进一条走廊，刚刚才逃出来。两人传送回舰。亚契马上命令李德迅速发射三颗光雷轰炸厂房，恰好赶在 Vosk 冲进时空管道的那一刻杀掉了他。突然活生生的丹尼尔精神焕发地冒出来，告诉亚契一堆时间线在自我修复之类的好消息。亚契对此不感兴趣，要求丹尼尔送他们响应属的时代，以后时空冷战再有麻烦也别来找他们。
进取号重返地球轨道。信号传进来，半信半疑的船员们看着显示屏上熟悉的舰队飞来迎接，热泪盈眶……
